Why Moss Landing?

Our whale watching tours depart from Moss Landing harbor, at the heart of the bay, halfway between Santa Cruz and Monterey. We're in a prime location to start looking for whales, too. The Monterey Submarine Canyon begins only a couple hundred yards offshore Moss Landing which means it's only minutes before we're over deep, cold, nutrient-rich water that attracts all kinds of wildlife.

Moss Landing harbor is directly off Highway 1 making us easy to find. Parking spaces are plentiful & cheap! Moss Landing has an old-fashioned charm offering cute antique shops, famous restaurants, and gorgeous beaches.
